Todd,

I tested this in the version 2008.11.369, this is what I found:

1. I looked at my inventory report for supplies and found my average cost before I entered the farming operation to a share crop field.

2. Farmed that supply to the field.

3. I then purchased more of the same supply at a different cost. I looked at my inventory report again and the average cost had changed just as it should.

4. Went to the Record Income or Sales. Selected the correct Landlord for the Purchaser. Clicked on the Bill Landlord button. Highlighted the job that I had just farmed and it picked up the supply as the average cost found in step 3.

I also tested using a supply just to the exact quantity purchased and used in farming operation, so the inventory report does not show this supply name in the list (meaning zero left in inventory). When I use the Bill Landlord button, it will take my average purchase cost for the entire year.

Hope this helps!
