I am wondering what the best way to add an operation to a field that I have already deleted. Specifically, I need to add a few pesticide applications. Can I simply draw a box (or anything) off site and define it with the field name that I deleted? Then add whatever operations/notations, then re-close it with out any problems?

Right now in one project, I have two fields named "A1". One of them has a bunch of info, the other has next to nothing. I attempted to add operatios to this field a year ago and that is how the 2nd named field came about; I think. I guess what I am asking for is the proper procedure to do this.
