One of our clients has a problem whereby his FW crashes whenever he tries to print a report. He aslo says that he lost a lot of data when he created a project and sent all the data there, but whenever he tries to open the project, the software stalls indefinately, then he has to restart again; but still no luck. He has license for trac/site 2011. I intend to pay him a visit next week, but I yet have limited ideas on what is causing this problem. Any help? I already contacted Phil templeton, I believe the problem is partly solved for now (wish it was forever) after installing version 2012; he can now print at least most reports, yet in others it still crashes (and i don't really think it is corruption coz otherwise it wouldn't print on the new version -2012).

In other news; I got a different client running FW on XP. I have been able to update his drivers to "greenstar 2" after much struggle ( he didn't have dot net framework at first; which I had to install), problem is, when I try to read the data, it doesn't give me the fields (after selecting (setup)- "read data option". In my laptop, I can read the data but the file "setup" appears as "setup.fdc" while on his comp, it just appears as "setup" and there is no conversion of data into fields. I believe there is another update or software I need to install so that the client can access his yield data as comfortably as I do in my laptop.
I don't know which software/update that should be. Do you have any idea about this? He is also using version 2011.9.490

I have been to the client, and as he said, whenever I try to print one harvesting report, the software just crashes. I have restored the project on my PC, so i can print some of the reports, but I also get crashes on other reports on my pc....? Am using FW 2012 version.

It is the 2011 version, 2011.09.490, he says he can't print out any reports or maps because the program switches into not responding mode. Also, he updated greenstar drivers recently for a specific project, after which the program stopped responding altogether. The client reports loss of data. I am due to visit him next week, but I don't have enough ideas on what is causing his problems. He uses win 7.
