I just downloaded the new versions 12 for Office and Moblie. When I open office and turn on the background imagery, only small portions of the area I'm viewing will show up with an aerial image. And seems to be opening blocks of imagery that aren't even in the area I'm zoomed into. Once I zoom out a little then I can see a couple random blocks of imagery that were loaded. Sometimes nothing will show up. I read a previous post about firewalls, so I went to windows firewall and made an exception for Farmworks Office, but still have the same issue. i had the exact same issue a couple months ago during a FW class that we were teaching! not fun. by switching to a better internet connection, it worked. but, other users in the room were getting it to work when mine would not. i dont think we ever got a definite reason figured out. i will test again to see if it still works with my win xp laptop and a verizon 3G (hotspot) modem. "Active-X" gets used somewhere in this process, and you need to make sure that it is configured.

Finding another connection may yield a different result. You won't know until you try it.

That is copied and pasted from the target box. I run XP. Maybe this is an issue... I also run the old version 11 site pro still on this PC in order to save a bunch of maps that I made for use in nutrient management plans I have. They got all screwed up in moving over to the new program so someone there helped me get it to work that both versions run on my PC. The target box for the old version is:

"C:\Old SitePro\sitepro.exe"

I know I've read that firewalls can be an issue. Do I need to turn off my firewall in the windows security center.
