Syncing files not created using Automatic Naming

I have some application files which were not created using the Automatic naming convention in version 2010. Is it possible to take the .fgp files from the tractor and place them in the TMSMData folder (either on the application tractor or the desktop computer containing Farm Site) and have them synced? (Without having to manually go and "import background" with every file)

These files should be found on the GPS tab, after going to the File-Synchronize Trac Mate. Select Local Drive and correct Drive letter the TMSMData folder is found. Click OK. Select the GPS Tab and all your .fgp files should display for selection.
