Selecting Enterprises for Jobs (3 replies)

First, I will start with my setup.

For Client, I have the name of my farm.
For Farm, I have it broken down into strawberries, raspberries, etc.
For Field, I have 2013 Plantings, 2012 Plantings, 2011 Plantings, etc.

We have multiple varieties of strawberries, and each one is its own Commodity (ex. Strawberry - Albion, Strawberry - Veestar, etc.) So an Enterprise ends up looking like "2013 Strawberry - Albion"

My issue comes when creating jobs. Jobs often have to be applied to multiple enterprises from different fields from different years. When selecting enterprises from the map, they are always divided by year, so I cannot select them properly that way. When I try it by selecting entire fields, I cannot add/remove individual enterprises from the job. Also, when right clicking on a Farm/Field and applying a working group to it, it only applies to one enterprise within that field, not the entire field.

It is not practical to make a separate field for each strawberry variety, as there are multiple varieties in a field, and in one pass down the field with the sprayer, multiple varieties (enterprises) are covered. Each planting of strawberries is harvested for multiple years, and there is no way (that I am aware of) to change the year of an enterprise, so I cannot have all of the current strawberry enterprises in the same year, as they were all planted in different years.

I think the easiest solution to this problem would be to add the ability to view all enterprises from all years on the maps at once, and not just limit them to a single year at a time.

I'd love to hear any other solutions.

Thanks

When I try to write the data I keep getting the error message "Preparation failed". I have tried several different USB drives as well as selecting various different inputs, but neither of these steps fix the problem.

I have tried writing the same input variety to the same cards, but for an FMX display and the write was successful.

I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Case drivers, but the problem persists.I have also tried using backups and different projects in case those were the issue, but they weren't.

I am just looking for any possible steps to try.
