I enjoy snowmobiling, golfing, NASCAR, and cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes. We live on my Grandparents farm that became a Century Farm in 1995. I started Farming in 1979 including a farrow to finish hog operation until 1999. I currently farm 750 acres of grain crops and custom harvest an additional 200 acres. In the Mid 90’s I purchased Farm Works Software, primarily for the accounting part of the program. But as I worked with the program I could see the benefits of the crop record keeping from a management prospective. Since then I have added a yield monitor, GPS, Guidemate, and most recently a TitanRT. I really like the larger screen display on that unit. I became a Dealer for Farm Works in 1999. I am currently doing 5 to 6 trade shows a year along with consulting with individual customers as needed. My territory covers most of Iowa where I often travel to customer’s farms helping them getting their operation set up. I always try to service what I sell, customers can call or email me for their questions, or if needed contact Farm Works support group. I currently sell all the Farm Works Software products, Raven hardware, and Ag Leader yield monitors. One thing that is neat about Farm Works is that they have been selling software since 1992, and you don’t see many Companies that can proudly say they have served Agriculture needs for 15 years. It is amazing how far Technology has come in the last couple of years. It is here to stay and this is only going to get better.
