Lorie BadmanHello, my name is Lorie Badman. I came to work at Farm Works in October of 2001 after being a stay-at-home mom for six and a half years. I grew up on a family farm where we raised grain crops and Polled Herefords. I am the receptionist here at Farm Works. I am very fortunate that my job allows me the flexibility to work away from home and still be a full time mom. Farm Works allows me to work around my sons' schedule, so you won’t find me here during the summer months or any other time the kids don’t have school. My job suits me perfectly because I am a “people person”. I love to talk to different people and learn about different parts of the country. When I’m not answering the phone, I’m busy doing various other things around the office such as registrations, updating the database, doing various mailings, getting things ready for training classes or just about anything else that needs to be done.

I am blessed at home with a wonderful husband, John, and two sons, Zach and Nick. We have four cats, Princess, Jewell, Tony and Montgomery and a dog named T-Bone. We live on a small farm that we have planted to hardwood trees. John and I hope our boys will eventually reap the benefits of this planting and replant for a future generation. Zach and Nick raise pigs for 4-H but that is the extent of the livestock we raise. We enjoy spending time together as a family taking walks, going to the lake, antiquing, watching a good movie and going on vacations in the summer.
